Mav woke with a start as he was torn out of his otherwise peaceful sleep by a blaring klaxon. “What? What’s going on?” he looked around as the proximity alert continued to blare in his sensitive ear making him wince. With reality slowly returning to his consciousness he began to note the alarm in particular. Proximity alert was what the wail represented, which meant they had been pulled out of hyperspace to avoid crashing head first into an obstruction. Unfortunately the old ship didn’t have the best of brakes so to speak and was still flying at a respectable speed into the foreign object.
The mandalorian glanced back to the other occupant, Mesh’la, who was a mandalorian like himself. He doubted that she knew the situation so he dashed to the cockpit instead. Dead ahead was a drifting hulk of a ship which looked pretty much abandoned to him, but that didn’t help the fact that it was in his way.
Yanking back on the steering yoke, Mav was able to safetly divert away from the drifting ship and settle down in the space relatively near-by. His com-system started to pick up a distress signal and he waved Mesh’la over. Owl had already settled down next to him and he gave it a loving pat on the top of its spherical frame.
It was only a short while ago that they had ventured about The Moon of Endor and found a piece of evidence in his previous abode that pointed towards a possible location of his brother. Overjoyed at his hunt being back on he had wasted no time in setting out once more.
